About Me

Hi! My name is Rachel, and I'll be your pilot.

I've starting pedicabbing 16 years ago in Austin, TX, where I was a biology graduate student at the University of TX. It had become painfully obvious that I hated working in a lab. I wanted to touch grass and cavort with other humans in the sunshine. Not put little drops in little tubes all day. When I found out riding a giant tricycle taxi was an actual job choice, I threw down my lab coat and never looked back.

I have zero regrets! Pedicabbing is both a silly and an important vocation. The world needs more silliness. People need more time outdoors. They need their curiosity and sense of adventure engaged. People who haven't ridden a bike since they were kids need to get a little wind in their hair! If they can get those things while also getting their transportation needs met in a greener way, that's great!

My goal is to balance levity and professionalism. I love a goofy helmet and a squeaky horn, but I also pride myself on being responsive, organized, knowledgable and safe. This is not a side hustle or a temporary gig for me. Being the best pedicabber possible is the primary goal of my working years. Come ride with me!
